Terms of use
Last updated July 2026
By downloading or using Credit Card Manager & Reminder, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What this app is for
Credit Card Manager & Reminder is a personal organization tool for tracking your own credit cards, due dates, and reminders about them. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a financial institution, or a financial advisor, and it cannot move money, make payments, or contact your card issuer on your behalf. It only stores the information you type in and reminds you about dates you set.
Your responsibility for your data
Everything you enter is stored locally on your device, so you are the only one who can back it up, and you are the only one who can lose it. If you uninstall the app, lose your phone, or don't keep a backup, your card data may be unrecoverable — we have no copy of it and no way to restore it for you. If you export an encrypted backup and forget the password you set on it, that backup cannot be recovered either; there is no password reset, because there is no account to reset it on.
Accuracy of information
You're responsible for entering accurate card details and due dates, and for confirming anything important — an actual due date, a payment status — directly with your card issuer. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee: notifications can be delayed or blocked by your device's operating system, battery-saving settings, or a phone being off or offline, and the app is not responsible for a missed payment, late fee, or any other consequence of a reminder not arriving.
No financial advice
Nothing in the app constitutes financial, credit, or legal advice. Any organization or reminder the app provides is for your personal convenience only.
Age requirement
This app is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Permissions and features
Camera, microphone, calendar, and notification permissions are only used for the features described in the app's privacy policy, and only when you actively use those features. You can decline any permission and continue using the rest of the app, with that specific feature unavailable.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including late fees, missed payments, or data loss, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, if any.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app or these terms over time. If these terms change materially, the "last updated" date above will change with them. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or change the app at any time; because all your data lives on your own device, uninstalling never depends on us and your local data stays under your control regardless of what happens to the app going forward.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your country/state — fill this in], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

One thing still open: section 11 needs your actual country/state filled in — I left it as a placeholder since I don't know where you're based.
